A graphic interpretation of one of the images that have been a direct result not of a working imagination or clever skill, but of a peculiar sleep disorder that I have been afflicted with during my childhood.

This image worked in at least two stages:
-First one invoked a smooth, calming surface that had been repeatedly hit with wave after wave of gnarled growths that could be sensed from afar. Although accompanying lightness eased the disruption of signals from skin sensors that was the hallmark of all occurances of this disorder, it seemingly only did so to refresh the trauma by providing a contrast.
-Second one conjured up a rapidly growing mass within one of the radiant beams. Exponential growth of this collossal lump not only increased its volume, which continued in every direction, but its density as well - thus the sensation of its weight shortly exceeded what could be processed within the brain.
